Robots and cars, both are considered to be boy toys. These boy toys were combined to form a league of an ultimately cool boy toys which are called transformers.
‘Transformers’ is one of the most successful fictional characters of the millennium in television and in movies. Transforming robots were really a big hit to all types of human beings. The action-filled animated series had its movie debut last year and it went out to be a block buster hit. The first transformers movie was a clicked (may be) because of its well rounded story and themes, wherein there’s a love angle, some family themes, some comedy and lots of sci-fi action. The balance combination of each of the said characteristics might be the vital factor causing the movie to be more audience-friendly.
This year an installment was showed in theaters and since the first movie was a hit, it created an advantageous springboard for the movie that attracted more interested viewers to the theaters. The installment entitled Transformers: the rise of the fallen ended up being a little disappointing base on my critical view of it. The movie didn’t have that well-roundedness that it had before. The movie had more action and drama, which I wasn’t expecting. I’m actually expecting that it will be funnier but at action filled at the same time. Nevertheless, I must say that visual effects are at its best and I really think that it is arguably one of the best effects in the decade. It is just that the story is a bit of all over the place and is not the that well-mended in order for it to be as audience-friendly as the first one but still I’ll grade it as three out five in terms of its all over picture.
